Leipzig Halle Airport is celebrating its 90th birthday this year. To celebrate such an event, aon the 10th and 11th of June, the airport will open its doors for visitors on two days, thus providing unique insights into the airport and it’s history. Airplanes from different decades up to the present will be available for static or for a round trip. In addition, the airport’s special technology equipments, such as handling, rescue, clearance and defrosting technology, can be viewed on the weekend.

According to the website of the Flying Bulls the Douglas DC-6B will be there, no info if only it will be static. The Breitling Super Constellation will also visit the open day, confirmed by the official site.
