A few weeks ago, it was officially anounced that both squadrons (141+142 Filo) at Akinci Air Base near Ankara was disbanded, due to their connection the the turkish coup this year. Since the Solo Türk always came from Akinci, we tried to get some infos from our friends in Turkey. It was good to see that the Solo Display performed at Antalya in august showing that the team is alive, also we received info that the team is now part of the 132 Filo (Hançer – Dagger) at Konya Air Base, the same base where the Türk Yildizlari (Turkish Stars) is. We hope that the team will show their skills again in a short time outside of Turkey in 2017!
