Airbus Heritage Flight Messerschmitt Bf-109G-4 the “Red Seven” crashed last weekend, 26th of August at Manching during take off. According to a police report, the aircraft became airborne too early and immediately banked. The pilot was unable to recover and aborted the take off. The aircraft ended up in the grass next to the runway, damaging the aircraft. The pilot was able to leave the aircraft on its own and was only slightly injured. The pilot wanted to take off for a training flight, the aircraft there would have been next week in Zeltweg, on AirPower event.
