Serbian Soko G-4 Super Galeb crashed – one died

A military aircraft of the Serbian Armed Forces, one Soko G-4 Super Galeb crashed near Kovačica, both pilots ejected but sadly one died. According to the Tango Six defence news website, the Super Galeb belongs to the Technical Test Center. The Air Force of the Serbian Armed Forces after the present accident remain with 8 Super Galebs in its property.

Tango Six also reported the pilot Major Robert Kaloci was killed, and the injured co-pilot Aleksandar Matić is in conscious condition and transported and taken care of at the Military Medical Academy:

Major Kaloci was an expert pilot at the Center he was married and had a son. The investigation is underway.

Telegrams of condolences to the victim’s family were sent by Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin and Chief of General Staff of the Army of Serbia General Ljubisa Dikovic .
