Finnish Air Force 100th anniversary – all Hornet succesor candidates might attend
According to the kauppalehti.fi website, all manufactures who participate in the Finnish Air Force Hornet’s successor tender, could attend at the 100th anniversary airshow at Jyväskylä, Tikkakoski on the 16-17th of June. Finnland is planning to replace the Hornet from 2025, a final decision will be made by the Government in 2021. About the 100th anniversary airshow:
“I still can not answer the question whether we will be able to see the machines of all manufacturers in the air. The planes appearing on the show are usually not owned by the factory, but come from the air force of user countries. I believe that official news is to be announced immediately after Easter, “says Jarmo Majapuro, event director at Flight Show.
All participating companies will have their own exhibition space in the area where the public can visit and explore the manufacturer’s technology.

In spring 2016, a request for information was sent to the United Kingdom, Sweden, France and the United States. This request produced information about the following fighter models:
