The 28th Aviation Fair (Aviatická pouť) is getting closer and the organizers have recently released the further information about the next participants of the airshow.
The aircrafts with the Red Bull logo are for several years the assured participant of the Aviation Fair and there is no surprise it would continue in 2018. This time, among the Flying Bulls warbirds, the legendary P-38 Lightning is announced and this silver-painted twin-boom World War II fighter would be flown by Raimund Riedman.

Another argent warbird that is expected in Pardubice would come from Switzerland – the slender EKW C-3605 is returning to Aviation Fair after 18 years. This aircraft was developed in the late 1930s for the reconnaissance and ground attack purposes, then in 1970s some of the remaining airplanes were re-build for the turboprop version, powered by Lycoming engine. This Swiss aircraft, operated by the 46 Aviation team, is one of just two currently preserved C-3605s in airworthy condition.

And only for the comparison purposes – the EKW C-3603 in the original configuration, with the Hispano-Suiza 12Y engine (Meiringen air base, 2016).
The next Aviation Fair participant will also arrive from Switzerland and belongs to the 46 Aviation team – The Wingwalker Danielle returns to Czech Republic again! In 2017 she was participating in the Memorial Air Show in Roudnice, marvellously performing her wingwalking display. This year in Padubice, Danielle, together with her husband (and pilot) Emiliano Del Buono, will introduce the new pink and white painting of their Super Stearman biplane and the all-pink suit for Danielle.

The followers of the Aviation Fair Facebook page certainly have noticed, that the negotiations about the participation of Me 262 replica are still ongoing. The Schwalbe already visited Pardubice in 2016, during the 26th edition of the airshow, being one of the most visitor-attracting participants.

On 30th March the organizers of the airshow have disclosed on their official Facebook profile that they were negotiating the possibility of inviting the legendary Ilyushin Il-2. The recently restored Sturmovik will be this year visiting ILA Berlin and Duxford airshows. Unfortunately, the latest news from 9th April, also posted on Facebook, are saying that there is still no answer from the Il-2 operators.
The 28th edition of the Aviation Fair will take place on 2nd and 3rd June 2018, at the Pardubice airfield.
