The end of the F-16 operations from Leeuwarden Air Base is in sight. The last F-16s are expected to fly to Volkel Air Base on the 1st of July. For this occasion the 322th Squadron did a special painted Falcon. All units at Leeuwarden will concentrate on the transition to the F-35 from the 1st July. All F-16 jets will continue to operate from Volkel Air Base until about 2024.
